Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
As we can accept your registration and provide access to the VeriVisu platform without further reference to you, you must read these Terms to ensure that they contain everything you want and nothing you are not willing to agree to. If you are unsure about anything, please contact us before using the platform.

  1. Application

  1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the use and purchase of services on the VeriVisu platform by you (the “User”, “Customer”, “Candidate”, or “Recruiter”).
  2. We are Vivian Sunmola trading as VeriVisu (the “Supplier”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
  3. By creating an account, purchasing services, or ticking the “I Accept” box during registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
  4. You may only use the Platform if you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.

  1. Interpretation

  1. Contract means the legally binding agreement between you and us for the supply of the Services.
  2. Platform means the VeriVisu website and web application.
  3. Services means the digital recruitment and skills verification platform provided through the Platform, including profile hosting,skill showcasing, platform analytics, automated insights, and related functionality. Certain optional features, such as enhanced visibility tools or additional services, may be available for separate purchase.
  4. Candidate means a user creating a profile to showcase skills, experience, or evidence of ability.
  5. Recruiter means a user or organisation searching for, viewing, or unlocking candidate profiles.
  6. Subscription means a paid recruiter access plan.
  7. Boost means a paid visibility enhancement service that increases profile exposure.
  8. Verification means identity, background, or credential checks conducted through third-party providers as part of platform functionality where applicable.
  9. Privacy Policy means the document explaining how we process personal data.#
  10. Website means verivisu.co.uk and any associated subdomains.

  1. Personal Information and Registration

  1. When registering to use the Platform, you must create a username and password.
  2. You are responsible for all activity under your login details and must keep them confidential.
  3. We retain and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
  4. We may contact you by email or other electronic communication methods.

  1. Services and Contract

  1. The Platform provides tools for showcasing skills, reviewing candidate information, and accessing platform functionality designed to support recruitment and talent evaluation. Certain optional features may be offered separately where indicated on the Platform.
  2. All Services are subject to availability.
  3. Paid Services will be activated once payment has been received.
  4. We may modify, update, improve, or develop the Platform and its features where necessary.
  5. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform and may suspend access for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.

  1. User Obligations

  1. You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
  2. Candidates must not upload false qualifications, misleading experience, or unauthorised documents.
  3. Recruiters must use candidate information solely for legitimate recruitment purposes.
  4. You must not misuse the Platform, attempt to bypass controls, or use it for unlawful purposes.
  5. You are responsible for your conduct and any misuse may result in suspension or termination.

  1. Our Obligations

  1. We will supply the Services with reasonable skill and care.
  2. We will comply with applicable laws relating to digital services and data protection.
  3. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, hiring results, or performance of platform features or optional enhancements.

  1. Payment and Fees

  1. Payments are processed securely through an authorised third-party payment provider.
  2. Recruiter Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically unless cancelled.
  3. Optional paid features, including enhanced visibility services or additional platform functionality where offered, must be paid in advance where applicable.
  4. All paid Services are activated once payment is confirmed.
  5. Refunds are available in accordance with Section 8 of these Terms.

  1. Refunds

  1. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date.
  2. Refunds may be granted where:
    • the Service has not been substantially used
    • a technical issue prevented delivery
    • the Service was not delivered as described
    • required by applicable law
  3. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 14 days of approval, unless prevented by technical or banking processing outside our control.
  4. Refunds may be refused where there has been misuse of the Platform or breach of these Terms.

  1. Cancellation and Account Closure

  1. Subscriptions and paid services are activated once payment is confirmed.
  2. You may cancel your Subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals.
  3. You may delete your account at any time.
  4. Cancellation or deletion of an account does not automatically guarantee a refund, which will be assessed under Section 8.
  5. Deleting your account does not automatically remove all data where retention is required for legal, regulatory, security, or dispute resolution purposes. Data handling is governed by the Privacy Policy.

  1. Changes to Price

  1. We may change pricing for future billing cycles with reasonable notice.
  2. Existing paid billing periods will not be affected by pricing changes.

  1. Suspension and Cancellation by Us

  1. We may suspend or terminate accounts if:
    • you breach these Terms
    • you provide false information
    • you misuse the Platform
    • you engage in unlawful or fraudulent behaviour
  2. Where termination results from breach, refund eligibility may be affected.

  1. AI and Technology

  1. The Platform may use automated systems or artificial intelligence to analyse information or generate insights.
  2. Outputs are advisory only and must not be relied upon as final hiring decisions.
  3. We are not liable for decisions made based on automated or AI-generated information.

  1. Verification Services

  1. Verification checks may be conducted using independent third-party providers where applicable within platform functionality.
  2. We do not control verification results and are not responsible for inaccuracies arising from third-party systems.
  3. Verification does not guarantee employment.

  1. Duration, Termination and Suspension

  1. The Contract continues for as long as you use the Platform or maintain an active Subscription.
  2. Either party may terminate for serious breach not remedied within 30 days of written notice.

  1. Privacy

  1. Your privacy is important to us. We comply with applicable data protection laws.
  2. These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

  1. Limitation of Liability

  1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
    • hiring decisions
    • employment outcomes
    • loss of profits
    • business interruption
    • indirect or consequential losses
  2. Nothing excludes liability for fraud or death caused by negligence.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  1. This Contract is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  2. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of England and Wales.

  1. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  1. We may amend these Terms where necessary to comply with law or reflect platform updates.
  2. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
